Opening doors is a strategy, not a slogan.

Access is designed. So is exclusion. The work is to treat opportunity as infrastructure.

A door is a design decision. Who can reach it. Who has the key. Who is told it exists. In technology and in development we still talk about “access” as if it were a feeling. It is a system.

Johnas’s work starts from that sentence. Digital skills, partnerships and mobility are not charity extras. They are how a generation enters the economy that already exists.

The useful question is not whether Africa has talent. It does. The useful question is which institutions are willing to build the corridor, and stay long enough for people to walk it twice.
